Managing the passwords and security to protect our information is one of the biggest stressors we have in our lives in these digital times.  Not having your passwords at the tip of your fingers, is stressful because it's a waste of time in our busy lives, and keeps us from getting done what should be easy simple tasks.  

I have plenty of added stress from the breakdowns of caused by passwords.   At work it looks like people resisting new productivity technology because one more password just throws them over the edge.  At home  I feel I have the stress of remembering not only my passwords, but my husbands, my sons, and sometimes even my moms.

This morning when considering my Lenten focus of mindful consumption, I decided that posting would really help me keep my commitment, as well as share some of my favorite practices, and get the support of friends and colleagues.    That's how I came up with the idea that Working Out Loud as a fantastic mindfulness practice.  What better way to keep my commitment then to reflect in posts, make my progress visible, and hopefully make a contribution bigger than myself.
