Managing the passwords and security to protect our information is one of the biggest stressors we have in our lives in these digital times. Not having your passwords at the tip of your fingers, is stressful because it's a waste of time in our busy lives, and keeps us from getting done what should be easy simple tasks.
I have plenty of added stress from the breakdowns of caused by passwords. At work it looks like people resisting new productivity technology because one more password just throws them over the edge. At home I feel I have the stress of remembering not only my passwords, but my husbands, my sons, and sometimes even my moms.
My favorite tech guru David Pogue of NYTimes says this: Dashlane is life-changingly great. And free. Get it.
I totally agree. This morning we woke up to news from half dozen major companies including Yahoo saying "Critical Change Your Passwords" So lets just add to the stress that even if you remember them, the sense that your info is not safe and keeping up with good password hygiene feels overwhelming. It made me glad that I do have Dashlane. It's quirky sometimes, and requires patients as you get it up and running on all your devices... but the it know time you will appreciate the efficiency it will bring to your work and life. Most importantly you can totally ignore all of those articles about all the crazy things you need to do to come up with a bulletproof password.
I making the commitment to stop overiding thier helpful prompt to make a stronger password with my easy go to pw... today!
