Press Release: Amazon announces one Global HR Shared Services, 31st Dec 2015
We are happy to announce the completion of integration of all the HR services organizations into one global HR shared services. With this integration we now have a shared service organization for all our regions which includes Americas, EMEA and APAC. Amazon will now be able to provide a unified customer experience for all its employees across the globe throughout the employee life cycle. The team was able to deliver this feat within a record breaking time of nine months by standardizing all the process and reengineering wherever possible to eliminate waste. Mike Reynoldson the leader of this organization says “This team never stops to please me with what they achieve and I am proud to be a part of this extraordinary team which turned 2015 into a year to remember.” This year was nothing less than a roller coaster ride for the team where all the functions came together to deliver this extraordinary goal against all the challenges thrown at them. Suzanne Graham (Director NA Shared Services) says “This team never ceases to surprise me with the passion that they bring but as we say It’s Still Day 1 and we are ready for the New Year with bigger goals which I am sure this team will successfully deliver.” Through this integration the team was able to reduce 20000 HR contacts while improving the HMD scores by 25% in comparison to 2014 by launching self-help tools like associate portal mobile app which can now be used on the go!!! The team now wants to focus on building scalable solutions to equip Amazon as it continues to progress on its growth trajectory.
